An education here will set you up for success. Students participate in cutting-edge biomedical research, develop grant writing skills, contribute to scientific literature, and refine presentation skills daily. You won’t be alone either, as there’ll be highly qualified faculty members and research mentors to help you along the way.
“All professors carry out their own research, write papers, and apply for grants, on top of participating in faculty initiatives, holding seminars and workshops, giving lectures and preparing modules,” says Associate Professor Roger Yat-nork Chung. “We coordinate the different courses and ensure students are well-positioned to enter society after graduation. It’s a very fulfilling experience.”
As the programme progresses, students transition to more advanced hands-on training. Aside from theoretical approaches, you’ll learn to contribute to policy development, engage with local communities in Hong Kong, and even work with corporate business sectors.
