It’s these creative avenues that set the stage for even greater things. Constantin Beckers, Vice Captain of Strathallan School, is one example — he made his debut as a conductor for the school orchestra, and is part of the Castle Pipers, one of Strathallan School’s four pipe bands. He received an LCM Diploma from the London College of Music before graduating, a testament to the impact of the school’s music programmes.
“This recognition highlights the effort that goes on behind the scenes in the Music Department, beyond the Big Sing and concerts. It’s the unseen hard work with our music teachers that has helped make it possible for us all to achieve these diplomas,” he says.
“Achieving this qualification at school is such a unique and brilliant opportunity. I wouldn’t have had this chance at my old school in Germany. Strathallan has made it possible.”
Many others share equal sentiments. You’ll see graduates going on to pursue programmes at specialist Arts institutions such as the Royal Conservatoire, Royal College of Art, and Milan School of Fashion.
