Polish authorities plan to increase the number of audits of right to work and stay of foreign nationals residing in Poland. The audits can be performed by the National Labour Inspectorate and the Border Guard.
The Polish Parliament is currently working on introducing new provisions widening the competences of both enforcement agencies. Once introduced, both the National Labour Inspectorate and the Border Guard will gain the right to perform audits without the obligation to notify employers prior to the audit.
Additionally, if the new provisions enter into force it will not be forbidden to perform more than one audit simultaneously in case of audits of right to work and stay of foreign nationals performed by the National Labour Inspectorate and the Border Guard.
