Effective May 12, 2025, travelers from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru require a yellow fever vaccination certificate for entry to Ecuador.
The requirement applies to travelers arriving in Ecuador who are:
- Nationals or residents of Peru, Colombia, Bolivia and Brazil;
- Travellers of any nationality or residence who have stayed more than 10 days in any of these countries before travelling to Ecuador.
The Certificate must indicate that the vaccine was received at least 10 days before arrival in Ecuador.
Moreover, Ecuadorian nationals or residents with no vaccination record travelling to risk areas in the Ecuadorian Amazon (Sucumbíos, Orellana, Napo, Pastaza, Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe) must get vaccinated 10 days before travelling.
