No matter where you are in the world, it’s not easy to get a job that pays well and lets you live well.
And it seems that the hunt for this dream job gets more stressful with every year.
Graduates today are asking these questions repeatedly: Can I find a job? How employable am I in the eyes of employers?
But there are ways to make this job search easier. That the answers to the two questions above are “yes” and “very.”
And one of the ways to do this is to choose the right university.
Specifically, the top 10 Asian universities with the most employable graduates.

How we chose the following universities
For this article, we’re basing this list on the Employment Outcomes indicator on the QS World University Rankings.
This indicator measures the degree to which institutions can ensure a high level of employability for their graduates and their record in producing graduates who have made a meaningful impact on society.
Two metrics are used to calculate Employment Outcomes: Alumni Impact and the Graduate Employment Index.
The Alumni Impact metric analyses the profiles of 82,000+ impactful graduates in business, politics, higher education, and charities to identify the institutions where they studied. A score is then calculated based on the share of impactful graduates the university has at both a domestic and global level.
The Graduate Employment Index metric is based on the graduate employment rate, which is defined as the percentage of graduates who go on to paid full or part-time work within 15 months of finishing their degree. The rate is then normalised to create the final index.

National University of Singapore (NUS)
QS Employment Outcomes: 100
It’s no surprise to see Asia’s best and most prestigious university topping this list.
In early 2025, it was reported that among NUS fresh graduates in the Singapore labour force, 88.1% were employed within six months of completing their final exams, according to the Joint Autonomous Universities Graduate Employment Survey (JAUGES) 2024, jointly conducted by NUS and other Autonomous Universities.
This success goes beyond NUS’s world-renowned academic rigour and experiences.
In 2022, the university launched the Internship-As-A-Service and conNectUS, platforms for students to tap into the gig economy to market their talents to industry, while building global networks and opportunities with NUS alumni in Singapore and worldwide.
It’s something NUS students use to their advantage. Take NUS engineering grad Muhammad Rossyaban Bin Rosman, for example. If not for the university’s Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG), he might not have bagged the job from his first interview, which he admitted didn’t go well.
“On the same day, CFG was having an open-door session where any undergraduate could visit them for career advice. At the session, I discovered various tools provided by NUS that I wasn’t aware of, such as resume templates and guidelines, and VMock,” says Rossyaban.
“Armed with encouragement from CFG staff and these useful tools, I was more confident during my next round of applications and interviews and managed to land a good job shortly after!”

Seoul National University (SNU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 100
Given that the alumni network at SNU comprises some of the most prominent individuals in South Korea and abroad, it’s no surprise that this is a university that prepares you for your future.
In 2017 alone, one in four CEO’s of top 100 Korean companies and an incredible 72% of judges in the Supreme Court were SNU alumni. Plus, close to 60% of government ministers and about half of the members of the National Assembly were also part of SNU’s alumni network.
You could join their ranks if you get the right help. Your first stop? The Career Development Centre (CDC).
There, you’ll find a variety of career development programmes and services to provide opportunities for career development, including support for local and overseas employment, career counselling from experts and industry connection programmes like:
- Career-related Courses: Global Internship 1, a general elective course (1 credit) designed for students wishing to participate in an internship at a local or international organisation.
- Career Development and Education: SNU Career Reporters Group, where students interview graduates who work in various fields, helping them to design their own career path and share the information through writing interview articles and publishing e-books.
- Employment Support: Seoul National University Recruitment Fair, which takes place every March and September.. The university hosts a job fair to provide students with one-on-one job counselling sessions with human resource managers, vocational psychology tests to identify their professional interests and aptitudes, resume workshops, and more.

University of Tokyo
QS Employment Outcomes: 99.9
There’s a reason why the University of Tokyo is one of the top 10 Asian universities in the region, and it’s only partly to do with its impressive graduate network, which includes 13 Nobel Prize laureates, 16 Japanese Prime Ministers, and seven astronauts.
Between the International Student Support Room (ISSR) and the Career Support Office, you’re in good hands. Seminars, counselling, workshops – you want it, they have it.
Their Global Career Fair sees several Japanese and international companies with Japan-based offices gather at the school to speak to and recruit students. Better yet, you might even have the chance to earn some consideration during the selection process, like having some grace given to you regarding the language requirements or assessments if you were to join the company.
That’s not all, international students in particular will benefit from the university’s Job Fair for UTokyo International Students. This even allows you to obtain detailed information regarding what companies are looking for prospective employees, as companies actively recruiting UTokyo International students will be attending.

National Taiwan University (NTU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 99.9
In a report looking back at the graduate outcomes of NTU’s students, the university’s alumni hold leadership positions in approximately 18% of the listed, over-the-counter, and emerging stock companies in Taiwan, contributing a total revenue of 9.9 trillion New Taiwan dollars, which is 23.4% of the total annual revenue of these companies.

Each covers a range of programmes. The first includes One-on-One Career Counselling, the second, Guidance in Resume Writing and Interview Skills, and the third, Workplace Etiquette and Labour Rights, amongst many other things.

The University of Hong Kong (HKU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 99.7
If you’re enrolled in or planning to go to HKU, it’d be a crime to miss out on the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) and its support services, resources, and educational programmes – one of the major reasons why this institution is one of the top 10 Asian universities featured on this list.
Professional business writing, 1-1 career coaching, CV checkers and interview simulators, aptitude tests, and so much more – that’s what you’ll get out of CEDARS, and we’ll let the results, like Shaik Mogdoom Rasmiyah’s story, speak for itself.
Rasmiyah participated in CEDARS’s GraduAction Talent Academy, which aimed to enhance final-year students’ essential skills and knowledge for better career development and employability. Once feeling unsure about her career, Rasmiyah found the workshops in this Academy pivotal to her in discovering herself and finding what she is good at.
One workshop helped her understand her personality type and how she collaborated best with others, while another prepared her with the techniques of CV creation and offered negotiation in the job market. Rasmiyah also gained valuable insights from the job simulation study and a trailblazer workshop, where she assisted a mock AI learning company in market exploration.
“Start now, no matter how late you think you are,” Rasmiyah emphasises, adding that you need to be brave to seek help and utilise the university resources that are always ready for you to access.

King Saud University (KSU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 99
The first of the Middle East and West Asia universities to join this list of top 10 Asian universities is Saudi Arabia’s very own King Saud University.
We’ll admit, it’s a little hard to find much information about the kind of career support you’ll get, but this is what the university’s website states: they provide a wide range of training courses aimed at enhancing the skills of international students, executed in partnership with the Deanship of Skills Development, the Skills Development Centre in the Deanship of Student Affairs, and other relevant entities.
Some of the training courses include digital interior design, organisational performance management, finance basics for non-finance professionals, and a range of professional certificates supported by the Human Resources and Development Fund.
The university’s administration also maintains a database of graduates, including their current positions and contact information. This database is utilised to provide recommendations and is made available to government agencies as needed.
Educatly notes that KSU graduates are highly sought after by employers in Saudi Arabia and internationally. The university has strong ties to industry and government, providing students with numerous internship and job opportunities.

Qatar University (QU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 98.6
Yet another institution you might be surprised to see on this list of top 10 Asian universities that’ll give you a career boost, Qatar’s only public university is more than ready to help you get to your dream job.
Here, the Career Development Centre is where you’ll find counselling, training, and professional development services, as well as help in your preparations to engage and compete for the best career opportunities.
It specialises in providing QU students with student employment during your studies at the university with the Students Employment Programme. This allows you to gain work experience in a real working environment across all QU colleges and departments in different administrative and academic positions in your free time, and get paid according to the policies and procedures of the programme.
And on top of all that, the centre also assists with sponsorships, internships, and full-time job opportunities.
American University of Beirut (AUB)
QS Employment Outcomes: 97
Ranked #2 in the Arab world in the Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS) 2024, and #1 in the Arab world for Digital Leaders in Higher Education 2024, it’s not strange that Lebanon’s American University of Beirut is on this list of top 10 Asian universities that’ll give you a handy career boost.
The university’s Career Hub will be your one-stop shop. This is where you’ll get career support, guidance, personal development tools, and opportunities that are key to your transition from an academic to a successful professional and business life.
This includes, but isn’t limited to, drafting your professional resume, writing your cover letter, searching for jobs using different platforms, networking with employers, and preparing for job interviews.
You’ll also find many experiential learning opportunities available, such as volunteer work, internships, or job shadowing, giving you all that you need to get noticed by top recruiters.
Peking University (PKU)
QS Employment Outcomes: 94.2
If it’s any university you expected on this top 10 Asian universities list, it has to be China’s finest. Naturally, it makes sense that such a prestigious institute will have equally great career development programmes too.
And you’re not wrong. PKU’s Student Career Centre doesn’t just offer its students career counselling – they’ve got multiple bulletin-board-esque sites dedicated to telling you who’s hiring and what the job is. This includes information and news on:
- Daily recruitment
- Industry recruitment
- Daily internship
- Industry internship
- Entrepreneurship
- College recruitment
So, of course, it’s hardly a shock to see PKU students and graduates snatching up jobs as quickly as you can blink. With a service as comprehensive as theirs (and academic excellence on top of that!), who wouldn’t want to join the university?

Chulalongkorn University
QS Employment Outcomes: 93.6
Wrapping up the list of top 10 Asian universities that’ll help you get a boost in your career is Thailand’s best-ranked institution, Chulalongkorn University.
Academic vigour aside, you won’t have to look too hard to find the help you need for your career development. You do, however, need to make your way over to the Office of Student Affairs, the unit responsible for its job placement services.
Unfortunately, the university doesn’t have too much information on the topic, but if it’s any good to you, this Redditor points out that the university’s location in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, means that your career opportunities are significantly in your favour.
“Lots of MNCs have offices in Bangkok,” writes the Redditor. “Chula is THE top university for business-related courses. You definitely won’t run into too much trouble finding a job after you graduate.”
Another echoes the sentiment, though they add that the university’s high ranking is a draw for many top employers.
“In terms of job prospects, Chula’s name is well-regarded by top employers,” they wrote. “I received three internship offers just after I finished my first semester.”
